What Causes Constant Ringing In Ears While Recovering From Bell S Palsy?

Yes hello I was diagnosed with bells palsy in Jan 2015 I am making a good recovery however for the past five weeks I have had constant ringing in my ears at first it was very loud now its more of a piercing noise I have tried several medications is this normal? Thank you
