What Causes Constant Sense Of Ammonia Smell?

when I am work I smell an ammonia smell its very faint and burns my eyes and throat . I do have a inhaler AOnce I smell this I cant get rid of the smell for a few hours after I go home. I havealbuterol but it does not help I have complained about the smell for years but only once in a while the smell get so strong others can smell it . My dr has put me allergy pills and now perfumes make me start coughing and blowing my nose.
