What Causes Constant Stabbing Pain After Consuming Alcohol?

I seem to be getting pain in my right arm. It's a bit like a stabbing pain and constant. It seems to happen after I consume alcohol. It does not have to be a large amount a single glass of wine a pint of beer. I don't drink very often and last night I went to a dinner part and had two pints with a meal. Today I have pain in my arm. Last time I drank was New Years and had about a bottle of wind with food over the cause of about 8 hours.
