What Causes Constant Vomiting And Hives All Over The Body?

hi. today my boyfriend started throwing up in church. this continued for like an hour. when i saw him he was completely red and covered in hives all over his body. He said he was really hot and itchy. He constantly gets sick, at least once every week or two throwing up. He said the hives have happened once before. He doesnt have health insurance anymore because his dad just lost his job so he is refusing to go to the doctors. is this serious? i am worried
