What Causes Constipation Along With Blood In Stools Post Appendectomy?

I had a laparoscopic appendectomy recently, after having intense abdominal pain and noticing fresh red blood in my stool. Today, 8 weeks later, I am again passing fresh red blood in my stool (combined with a little constipation). I feel a little bloated but otherwise am experiencing no pain. What could be wrong?
