What Causes Continuous, Irregular Periods With Heavy, Runny Flow And Clots, And A Sore In The Vaginal Area 2 Months After Appendix Removal?

I am 40 and 2 months ago my appendix burst. I had emergency surgery and had a drain in for a week after surgery. For 2 and a half weeks I ve had my period it will ease up then get heavy again it hasn t stopped since it started. I do not take birth control because I had a tubal ligation 18 years ago.
