What Causes Continuous Spotting After Coming Off The Mini Pill?

i am a 23 year old women whom had an abortion about a year and a half ago maybe two years. i split with my partner and due to him cheating on me had some urine tests through my doctor. i have a new partner now in which i have been with for 6months or so. i was previously on the depo injection but thought id come off it to let my body and cycles go bk to normal. i had my 1st normal cycle a week before my birthday which is 22nd may and came off the day before my birthday. the next day i was spotting just like a couple weeks before. i contacted my doctor and he said it could be y body coming off the mini pill in which i only took about 4-5 out of the first pack anyway. he told me if it continues into july he'd take it from there. I have been spotting since sometimes its during the day and away by night but it always comes back. i am also spotting now. i noticed it back after intercourse about 3 nights ago and am now scared to have sex with my partner as i feel dirty and disgusted. help?
