What Causes Cough Along With Headache And Stiff Neck After Exposure To Dust?

Hi, I am a 30 year old mum. Last week, I was doing some redecorating in a dusty environment. Since then, I have a phlegmy cough, which has worsened over the week. I cough up white and green phlegm. My throat is very sore and my voice is hoarse. I also have a stiff neck with headaches on and off. Can you give me some advice? Also, my 3 year old daughter has a similar cough though none of the other symptoms (She had about 30 seconds of exposure to the dust). Thanks in advance
