What Causes Coughing And Soreness In Throat?

I currently have a cough and a sore throat. When I cough my chest hurts a little and sometimes a little bit of mucus will come up. I have been drinking tea, water, and orange juice, but when I drink the orange juice my throat burns. What can be causing this?
