What Causes Cracking And Popping Sound On Left Side Under Breast?

someone cracked my back and I heard and felt all these popping sounds I also heard and felt and heard my ribs crack under my left breast. Went to the ER two days later I do have a cracken rib, I know about the pain and what to expect, as I have had fractured ribs before 6 at the same time. But this time I am experiencing much more severe pain, I thought I had a pneumothorax, went back to the ER had a CT done no pneumo. But now I am having a popping and cracking sound on my left side under my breast you can actually hear as well as fell causes me severe pain also under my left shoulder blade in my back. I am in misery. What could it be? I hate to call my doctor again, because nothing showed up on the CT. But I have never had pain like this. Please answer as soon as possible. I did read somewhere that cartlidge can be torn away from ribs and this would not show up on a CT, is that true? What should I do. I am taking pain medication but it does not even touch the pain and it should. It is hydrocodone 10/500.
