What Causes Crackling Sounds While Breathing An Talking?

Post head and neck trauma. Developed crackling sounds with breathing g and talking. And clicking sounds with talking g and head turning. CAT scans are normal. Also had MRI. I m a nurse. I think there is dome type of cartilage injury.i don t usually get sob...but now this crackling is progressing and I hear and feel it subcutaneously.
