What Causes Cramps And Itching Along With Brownish Vaginal Discharge?

Today is supposed to be the first day of my period. I ve been having cramps but instead of my period coming I ve been experiencing this slight itchy feeling then when I used the bathroom and wiped myself I seen a very light reddish brown discharge. I m worried and I don t know what s wrong I ve been doing research can you please help?
