What Causes Cramps And Red Discharge After Pap Smear?

Hello, I just recently had a papsmear and my pap came back abnormal I have surgery to remove the abnormal cells tomorrow. But meantime since the pap i've been experiencing cramps for long periods of time, and now I have red cottage cheese like discharge, what could this be? And does sexual intercourse worsen the abnormal cells?
