What Causes Cuts Along With Severe Itching Sensation On Vagina?

Hi, My vagina has been sore for the last couple of days. It s itchy, and my inner lips are peeling. I have paper like cuts which also cause pain. I am unable to have sex, and it even hurts to do something as gentle as wiping. I wear thongs frequently and I slept with a tampon in. I don t know if that matters? Please help.
