What Causes Damaged Nerves In Hands?

I have had many problems on and off with my nerves in both hands. I ve had 2 surgeries and nothing seems to work. Only getting worse. I have had a NCS on my right hand which showed damaged nerves and I have had an EMG done and that showed abnormality in my muscles in my right hand. I ve also started having issues with my eyes for the past 2 years and very fatigue. MS has been brought up in my family. Should I get tested for MS?
