What Causes Dark Blue Veins On Chest When On Acyclovir For HSV2 Treatment?

I was recently diagnosed with HSV 2 and I was placed on acyclovir for seven days. Other than this I ve been sick once in five years. Because of the virus I ve been keeping a very close eye on my body and this evening found dark blue, almost black veins running all across my chest and into my breasts. I ve never seen this happen before and it was very startling. I am not pregnant. What could be the other causes?
