What Causes Dark Brown Patch On Wrist?

I have a dark brown patch on the lower end of my wrist(right hand). i am 21 years old and asian(brown) . i have a similar patch on my left wrist with lower intensity. why is this? what is wrong?
Note : i game a lot , involving holding a mouse for long durations.could friction be a cause
