What Causes Dark Burn Marks On Neck And Ear Leading To Itchiness?

Hi Doctors,I have light to dark burn marks on my neck and behind the ear area. At some points in the day they are extremely itchy. I haven t used a curling iron in a very long time so I know for sure it s not from that. I had these same makes in the same places about 12 months ago. I used a fungal gel cream and shampoo for 6 weeks to remove it but since it went away I stopped using the gel cream and the shampoo. What is this condition/thing called and how can I get rid of it for good this time?
