What Causes Dark Circles Underneath The Eyes Of A Child?

My 6 year old daughter has had chest and head congestion with a deep cough for about 5 days and developed a sore in her left nostril and upper left side of her mouth. Now her left eye is turning black and blue underneath her eye and her right eye shows signs that the same thing is happening. What could this be?
