What Causes Dark Color On The Sides Of Nose?

I have had some issues with a dark discoloration on the sides of my nose. Its like the skin peels everyday I wash and heal itself into this black color. It hurts occasionaly and I don't know what to do to stop it I just continue to clean my face everyday twice day.
