What Causes Dark Discoluration Of Skin Around Anus When Compared To Body?

The area around my anus, especialli between the cheeks is extremely dark in comparison to my body, its is also pigmented very weirdly, and doesnt even change gradually, it looks very dirty, i've tried cleaning it, doesnt work..what is it? how do i get rid of it>?
