What Causes Dark Purple Marking On Breast?

I have a dark purple marking, the size of my small fingernail on my breast. It is not painful and at first I thought it might be a cherry angioma, as I have several red pimples around my torso (I am 49 years of age). However, the marking on my breast is dark purple and bigger in size. Should I see a doctor?
