What Causes Dark Red Bruise Around Ankle?

my feet has dark mark around my ankle that look like bruise and I haven't hit myself or anything, now there are red marks, this has been happening since last week, i have high blood and have been subscribed linsenopril and verapamil. My feet hurt constantly and wearing heels is a thing of the past. Could you tell me what happening? Thanks, Vee Jay
