What Causes Dark Red Colored Discoloration On Forearm Post Injury?

i fell on my forearm, it didn't break but over a week later, color is dissapating except for the area that took the brunt of the fall. This area is dark red and feels like jello. I feel like if I pin pricked it, it would be dark red blood coming out.
