What Causes Dark Red Spot On Breast?

Hi I have a small (about the size of a finger nail) dark red spot on my breast. After a couple of day's it turns purple and looks like a bruise. It does not hurt or itch. It feels bumpy but no lumps underneath. It fades away and then comes back. It does this every couple of weeks. Thanks for any help you can give.
