What Causes Dark Spots On Breast Area?

hello,one of my friend,she is about 56 years old and she has been having these dark spots on her breast area they arent lumps or anything. Her doctor has already removed her left breast and the insicion is not healing and these dark spots keep on apearing on her breasts area..
