What Causes Decreased Sensation In Mouth And Lips?

I m currently feeling decreased sensation in my mouth and lips, it began to progress to my chin and the sides of my neck. I had gotten a cold about 6 days ago, had the sneezes, stuffy nose with mucus, and an itchy throat. It seems to have gotten better, but I continue to have these symptoms and I also had a stuffed feeling in my ear for the past 2 days. Is any of this related? What could this be?
