What Causes Deepening Wrinkles Across The Palm With Red Line Running On Either Sides?

I am not sure how I got here but I have a deepening wrinkle across the palm - the major line under the finger joints. THe wrinkle actually gets quite sore. The other day I had a similar soreness on the side of my hand and a new wrinkle appeared. There is a red line running on either side of the wrinkle much of the time
