What Causes Delay In Period After Stopping Contraceptive Pills?

Hi..I had my period on 18 Jan. I wanted to postpone my period the next month for which my doc has advised to take "Duoloton" for 21 days starting from 29-Jan to 18-Feb and then "Deviry" from 17-Feb to 24-Feb (both one tablet a day). My doc said that as soon as the tablet is stopped, the period occurs within 72 hours. It is 10 days now I have stopped the tablets and I haven't had my period yet. I want to have it by today or tomorrow by latest due to some poojas at home (I am unmarried). Please suggest.
