What Causes Delay In Periods And Unusual Vaginal Odour?

My period was due 10 days ago I got a negative pregnancy test and now a weird odor from my vagina not the discharge. Also my discharge changed from alot then the day I was supposed to get my period and sense I ve had little to no discharge. I m worried but I don t want to go in and told to just wait.
