What Causes Delay In Periods Despite Having Negative UPT?

Hi! I am a 37 years old and typically have an average cycle every 27 days with my last period starting on 11/16/2014. I am at day 39 of this cycle and no period yet and I have taken 8 home pregnancy tests - all negative. I have no pregnancies symptoms, but have cramping off and on since December 13th. What is going on with my body?
