What Causes Delay In Periods?

hi, i have been using loestrin 30 since september 2009. i have never missed a pill but have just taken it at the latest 6 hr later than i usually take it. this month i took all pills but my period is late and i dnt no why. i usually have a very light period but have never missed a period. is this a normal side effect
