What Causes Delayed Menstrual Cycle?

hi can i ask what is the possible reason why my menstruation delayed?my last period was jan07 and until now i dont have my period,i never been delayed before and i dont have sexual intercourse...but i do masturbate but i dont put anythng inside my vagina,i just paly my clit..please help..
