What Causes Delayed Menstrual Cycle?

i had sex with my boyfriend 6 months ago, after a month my first period was really late and it was like just for 5 days, which it usually lasts to 7 days.....the last months have been the same... till today it had passed like 34 days since my last period. i would really like to know why is this happening,
