What Causes Delayed Menstruation And Vaginal Pain?

Hi, I m experiencing a sharp vaginal pain almost all the time right now. I am 6 days late on my period, have had hardly any menstrual cramps. I ve recently had somewhat of rougher/longer sex with my boyfriend, and was wondering if that could be the cause of the pain? My period is not on a set cycle necessarily, it is common for it to come early or late.
