What Causes Delayed Menstruation Other Than Pregnancy?

My daughter , 16yrs 9months, has not had her monthly periods since october. We have got ultrasound done which shows only one ovary visualised with multiple small follicles scattered in stroma. She is badminton player so goes for strainous schedule of about 3 hrs everyday. I am very much worried pl suggest
