What Causes Delayed Period After Taking I-pill While UPT Is Negative?

i am 19years old girl..i took an ipill on 4th march 2011..my periods were due on 25th of march and till date i have not got them.there was slight bleeding 10days after taking the tab.i took a home pregnancy test and i tested negative.Could u pls tell me what might be the reason for the missed period?
what should i do now?
