What Causes Delayed Period And Vaginal Odor?

I've had the implant for nearly a year now, which makes my periods irregular in terms of when I get them but they normally always last under a week. This time I have been on for two weeks and they have started to smell really bad. I shower everday but hours afterwards the smell is back. What's wrong with me?
