What Causes Delayed Period And White Thick Vaginal Discharge?

Hi, my period is late by 6 days and i have a white thick discharge. i was physically active earlier this week with outdoor camp and this is the first time i was VERY active after a few years. I m still a virgin for the record. so was it normal to be this late when you are very active ?
