What Causes Delayed Period, Backaches And Mood Swing?

I am 5 days late for my period. I am getting all the symptoms, backaches, cramps, mood swings and Some creamy thick discharge but no period. I have recently come off the pill but my periods were regular even when I stopped. I have had quite a bit of stress in my life over the past month I've this doesn't help, What should I do I am really worried? I've never wanted my period so bad
