What Causes Delayed Period While UPT Is Negative?

dear maam, i am 22yrs married female. my due date of periods was on 15th aug, but till today it has not come. my husband stays out of town and visits rarely. i had intercourse around 22nd july to 25th july. i had done a pregnancy test but it came negative.... plz help what shall i do now...?
