What Causes Delayed Period With Negative UPT?

Hi , my name is esteban , and my girlfriend have missed her period , it's been 40 days since her last period , and we took 3 pregnancy tests and they all came out negative .
How can I find out if she's pregnant ?
And if she's not pregnant what could be causing all this ?
She's 17 years old doctor , please help me !
