What Causes Delayed Period With Reddish Discharge After Taking Birth Control Pills?

i am 22 yrs old female,my periods days were irregular before marriage but now its regular, now the issues is i had taken birth control pills in month of January as suggest by doctor,and got my periods but in feb i dint get my periods,but few days before i have being getting a reddish color discharge is there any prob i dint not consult doctor................pls help
