What Causes Delayed Periods Despite Taking Meprate?

Dr. I missed my periods in march n april .. on chkng im not expecting either..i was told to hve meprate 10mg which is a withdrawal tablet .. i did hve it fr 5 days and its 4 days since then n i hve still not got my periods.. im 34 yrs old ..im worried..what cld b the reason
