What Causes Delayed Periods Despite Taking Registrone?

Hi, my periods is 2 weeks late , i did pregnancy test, but results came negative. I visited gynecology, she prescribed to take regestrone 5mg thrice for 5days. It been 4 days but till now my periods doesn t came. Can you suggest me when I will get my periods
