What Causes Delayed Periods Post Intake Of I Pill?

Hi. I had unprotected sex with my boyfriend. He penetrated inside me only a little bit and he didn t release anything in me. For safety I took I-pill within 3 hrs. Now my period is not taking place for 6 days then the normal date. I am worried about this.
