What Causes Delayed Periods When Suffering From PCOD?

I havr hypothyroid and Pcod. currently i am taking eltroxin 250mg. I have prob of irregular periods and need to take meprate. But this time its been almost one week after taking meprate i still havnt got my periods. Also this time there is little pain on my right side ( might b ovary). Plz suggest
