What Causes Delayed Periods While On Novelon?

Last month, i was on novelon to regulate my period. But missed out the dose 1 complete day and also had sex that day. Now, i completed that dose and waiting for my period to commense. But even after 5 days of stopping the course, i didnt get my period yet. Is there a possibility that i am pregnant? If yes, what can be the affect of Novelon on the baby ( since i continued the remaining dose after that 1 missed day.
