What Causes Delayed Periods With Brown Spotting?

Hi I just missed my second period this week which is weird because i have been regular for over a year. i've taken 3 hpt and they all came out negative and today i found some brown spotting but it does not seem like it is my period, is there a chance i am pregnant?
