What Causes Delayed Periods With Dark Orange Tinge To It?

Hi. I am nineteen years old and have always had normal periods. I recently took two rounds on depo and then a few weeks after the last one was inactive went back to the pill. So I had unprotected sex for about a month. My period is very late and when I finally started it is dark and almost has an orange look to it. What could this be from?
